My family and I had a very short trip to Film City in Qatar . It was a very fun journey but it was not an easy one either . Navigation was very tough since there wasn't really any proper tracks , but the locals would set up markers with buckets of sands to show you the way . There was also many car tracks from previous "travelers" .



Facts :

-This is Qatar's own piece of Hollywood set in the most unlikely of places. Deep in the desert . Seriously . DEEEEEP in the desert .

-Some assert it was built for a big Hollywood production, others say it was for an Arabic film; others still claim it was built for Qatar's 2022 World Cup promotional video. Whatever the reason the expansive layout of the city, remote location and distinct lack of people, only served to amplify the surreal element as we walked through its main square.*1 But from my knowledge , rumors has it that it was used for Transformers 2 , the scene where that was a robot in the figure of a scorpion . Seems legit .
