The island-state of Malta is located in the Mediterranean Sea, south of Sicily Italy, it consists of three islands: Malta, Gozo and Comino, of which Malta is the largest island. Malta is an EU member from May of 2004.
Malta is surrounded by clear blue waters, some of the cleanest in the Mediterranean, and is much enjoyed by visiting swimmers, snorkellers and divers. There are a lot of beautiful beaches. To visit the whole island we hired a car and also went on the ferry boat to Gozo with the car but care because Malta drives on the left like the UK.
