Мачу-Пикчу
На территории Американского континента среди всех археологических строений, уходящих в глубокую древность, расположен древний город Мачу-Пикчу - самое известное и уникальное место на континенте. Невероятно удивительные развалины древнего города, обнаруженные в Перу, являются одним из Новых Чудес света и входят в список ЮНЕСКО. Археологическое строение получило название «Город в небесах», так как располагается на высоте 2.6 километров. Этот удивительный город был обнаружен только в 1911 году, профессоромАмериканского Йельскго университета ХайремомБингхемом.

Свое название древние строение получило в честь недалеко расположенной горы Мачу-Пикчу. Построенный Инками город был предназначен только для высшего сословия и обычным смертным вход в него был строго запрещен. В городе проживали жрецы, различная знать с ремесленниками и слугами, а так же девственницы, служившие всю жизнь богу Солнца. На территории древнегогорода находится Храм Трех Окон, по мнению многих специалистов храм использовался для важных и значимых ритуалов, так как через его окна проходили солнечные лучи и освещали священную площадь. У инков было представление, что мир троичен, отражение чего можно проследить по наличию трех окон в храме. На территории города расположено 200 различных зданий, среди которых есть такие как: храм Солнца в самом центре Мачу-Пикчу, обсерватория и многие другие.

An ancient city Machu Picchu is the most famous and unique place among the archaeological buildings on the America continent. The incredibly amazing ruins of an ancient city are located in Peru.It is also one of the New Wonders in the World and it was included in the UNESCO list. The archaeological buildings was called "City in the sky" because of itslocation at an altitude of 2.6 kilometers. This amazing and ancient city was discovered only in 1911 by the American professor Hiram Bingham of Yelskgo University.

An ancient building was named due to the near located mountain Machu Picchu.It was built by the Incas only for the upper class and the entrance to the ordinary mortals was strictly forbidden. The city was the home to the priests, the different craftsmen and servants and also for a virgin who served all their life to the Sun god.There is the Temple of three windows is located on the territory of an ancient city, according to many experts the temple was used for important and meaningful rituals as through its windows the sun's rays lit up the sacred area.The Incas had the idea the world is threefold and the reflection can be traced of three windows in the temple. There are 200 different buildings in an ancient city, they are: the Temple of the Sun in the heart of Machu Picchu, an observatory and others.
